The first festival I joined outside of school ever started out nicely, i hope to join more film fest and hopefully it can help with funding if i win more often.
The prize money came in so i get to invest into more festivals later.

I'm familiar with mainly one Christian film festival. It's the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. I've never seen traditional animation there before - only CGI - so it would be very interesting if you entered! :)
But I know there are more... there's one in Pheonix, there are always a bunch in California... also there are film festivals specifically aimed at the younger age group (high school through college) which might be helpful to you as well.
I am a member of christianfilmmakers.org - that's where I hear about a lot of the Christian film festivals.
