After my complaint about the pre-school kids art class yesterday, I did sit down with my mom and talked about it.
She said a word of wisdom that struck me-
"Of course everyone would want a more straight forward job, but it's the difficult job that you get will give you growth as a person. And expand your inner capacity."
T_T (expand... expand... expand....)
After I think about the parents and the kids again... it's really only that few talkative parents that will be picky anyway, I can't ignore the majority of the parents that are nice to me and their kids.
They want the best for their kids, even if their methods I would question.
Some parents who are picky are purely insecure beings... this I know all too well from my parents' work. (they do consoling for parents daily)
Second day is a bit better than the first chaotic day...
the class was smaller, and I learned from my first day's mistake...
Finally I got a good feedback I was waiting for...
at least 1-2 kids liked taking my class, and two parents asked whether I teach long term.
