Working

I still can't get the lights to shine through the window, but it happened for the door for some reason...

I can't texture Jeremy's hair properly right now, for some reason, Maya doesn't like to take poly that's converted from Nurbs or Subdiv to work with UV.... there's probably something I don't know. But this is where I am right now. :/

I think you did this already, but did you make the background a large image farther away from the room?

for the light in the window, it is possible that you may have placed those planes with the images there, so it blocks the light from coming in. If you make a large plane outside the room, as it if is like a movie set where you have a large image of the background and have the light in front of that, it can come through the window, and you will still have your background too (just make sure it is big enough to be seen in all your cameras)

This will also help you because the windows won't look like flat paintings but feel like there really is an outside.

Hope that helps!

Oh, and also maybe check to see the light intensities- it is also possible that a stronger light is in a sense overpowering the light coming through the window so you see nothing. Make sure shadows is on for the window lights- since light does not just stream through unless you have shadows.
